The two existing buildings and their spacious garden were privat property that have to be changed into a public space. A new volume is added as an extrusion of the existing main building, which proved the main entrance as well. The new civic centre contains exibition halls, working space for artists and administration.

Gradient Habitat​

 

Study project 2014

RWTH Aachen University, Germany

 

Task is to create a flexible living space as a parasite on other buildings in the city. The bean form of the building is made by the wooden light construction and has a front and a back side. The living space is orientated to the front side with many views to the outside. The hight of the building gives its privacy and the integrated furniture make the living space unic. The building is made to surve as a living space in the future for people in the big cities where space is limited. It can be situated for example on rooftops.

 

Concert hall​

Feuersee in Stuttgart, Germany

To plan a concert hall for the music festival of Stuttgar in the densely constructed Stuttgart West, which is the area of Feuersee with its neugotic Johannes church an idyllicbut still urban city space.The building is situated in the water of Feuersee. Its position doesn‘t put the church in the background and in the same time is the entrance of the building resolved by by the buildings position at the border of the water.

Train Station

The form and direction of the train and the tracks give the form of the building. Both sides of the Cafe are two boxes of exposed concrete material where the office and the kitchen are situated. Inbetween the boxes is a post and beam facade with a grid of 125 cm. All the facade elements have the hight of the building which is 400 cm exept the door entrance which also has a black thick profile as an accent. Behind the post beam facade is the cafe area and another box of exposed concrete where the bathrooms are situated.

Small Exhibition Hall

for an Architecture school in France

 

Design project 2010

TThe old textil fabric of the small french town of L‘Isle-sur-le-Doubs was converted into an Architecture school. At the end of the area is a small exhibition hall needed where student should present their projects. The border of the area includes a small river, a big walnut tree and an old roman aqueduct. The building has two levels. The first one is the entrance and connection to the second which is the main area. The uper level includes an exhibition area of about 100 m2 together with the bathrooms, kitchen and a storage space which are situated at the nord part of the area.
